THE SYNAPTIK

The Synaptik is a Palestinian-Jordanian rapper at the forefront of a popular wave of Arabic rap and trap. With a steady string of new releases, including numerous iconic collaborations with the region’s hip-hop heavyweights, his distinctive voice and potent lyrics have cemented him as one of the pioneering artists of the Arabic-speaking world. Exploring issues such as migration and social inequality, The Synaptik has been able to take the region’s pulse and broadcast it worldwide through his infectious beats, highlighted by his song-writing style that effortlessly merges singing and rapping.

With stellar albums under his belt and dozens of local, regional and international shows, The Synaptik has cemented his status as one of the pillars of hip hop in the region, and collaborated with numerous artists all around the Middle East, including rap superstars such as Abyusif, Wegz, Molotof, Marwan Mousa, Tamer Nafar, Maysa Daw, Bu Kolthoum, El Rass, Chyno, Moayad Nufaei, Al Nather, Shabjdeed, just to name a few.

FREEK

Mustafa Mohamed Ismail, better known by his stage name Freek, is a UAE-based Somali rapper, singer, music director and record producer who is noted as one of the artists in the development of the Arabic drill rap music genre and GCC's underground music scene.

Freek's career as a musician began with Alonzo’s track ‘Batali’ released in 2014 and his first single ‘Aslan 3adi’ which was released the following year. A few years later, his single ‘Wala Kilma’ put him on the radar. Listed on Link Up TV became popular in the United Kingdom, a major cultural centre for the Somali diaspora, and was remixed with British rappers Eyez and Young Tribez. The song also landed the Freek his debut tour in London and Leicester in December 2019, as well as paved him the way for a series of performances in shows in the UAE including Sole DXB, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Expo 2020 where his performances were collaborated with Future, Gucci Mane and the Wu-Tang Clan.

In 2021 he was featured on Charlie Sloth’s Fire in The Booth (Dubai Series) and on Virgin Radio Dubai’s Regional Artist Spotlight in 2022. In the same year Freek's first studio-recorded album titled ‘150’, comprising eight tracks, was released. Freek is currently signed to GXR Records.
