The Swallowtails present: A Tribute to The BeatlesSaturday, December 14th Doors at 7:30pm Music at 8:00pm $20 Greenwood Social Hall
The Swallowtails bring an evening of Beatles’ songs that have inspired their own songwriting journey. Featuring a band made up of Collin Rausch, Wills Van Doorn, Miki P, and Rachel Lovelace, this cast of Beatle-lovers plan to play hits from a Hard Days Night in addition to selections from the Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starr catalog.
Opening the evening will be a solo set from Jocelyn Nixon of The Creepy Jingles.
The Swallowtails:
The Swallowtails are an independent acoustic band experimenting in the rock/pop genres while performing on what are traditionally folk/classical instruments, creating a unique sound all their own. Featuring Miki P on Guitar/Vocals and Rachel Lovelace on Bassoon/Vocals, the duo’s original music out of Kansas City is migrating throughout the Midwest and beyond.
Jocelyn Nixon of The Creepy Jingles:
The Creepy Jingles are a Kansas City based, 4-piece rock and roll band that both honors and defies convention. LED by singer/songwriter Jocelyn Olivia Nixon, a transgender wordsmith who charms with razor wit and dazzles with her lyrical acrobatics.
Refreshments provided by The House of Outlyre, the resident team behind GSH. Donations are never required but appreciated.
Heads up: Greenwood Social Hall is located on the second floor of a historic building and does not have an ADA accessible entrance.
