Once again, the great Laurence Juber will join us as our guest for a brand new show ~ pushing the envelope with vintage and new works from the New Folk Ensemble.
Returning with their award-winning Americana folk fusion, The Susie Glaze New Folk Ensemble is bringing a brand new and exciting show this year, featuring diamonds in the rough and hidden gems from some of the best songwriters in the world. Featuring tunes by Linda Thompson, Gillian Welch, Steve Earle, Iris Dement, Lucinda Williams, John Prine and Bob Dylan, this show promises to be a revelation in songs of heartbreak and revelation. Country classics from Dolly Parton and the band’s own originals from songwriter Rob Carlson will round out this true eclectic sound. Featuring Award-winning vocalist Susie Glaze, mandolinist Steve Rankin, fiddler Mark Indictor and bassist Fred Sanders are The Susie Glaze New Folk Ensemble, the newest version of the acclaimed Los Angeles-based Americana group.
Boasting the return of their guest artist again this year, Grammy winning/McCartney’s Wings guitarist, Laurence Juber. With Laurence the band will jam out on their jazz standard tunes from their recent album “Do You Have This in Blue” among other swing and ragtime favorites. Celebrating the classic standards of the jazz era, the New Folk Ensemble takes a deep dive into the Great American Songbook (including songs such as “Stardust” and “Embraceable You”).

Online tickets sales close at 6pm the night of the show. Any remaining tickets are for sale at Boulevard Music when doors open At 7:30pm unless noted otherwise. Tickets may also be purchased in person at Blvd Music or by phone (310) 398-2583 using a major credit card.
A $3 service charge per ticket is added to online and phone orders. All ticket sales are final. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. For online ticket purchases, you will need to provide the ticket barcode for entry. Please print your ticket or display the barcode on your phone.
Please note all shows start at 8pm and doors open at 7:30pm unless indicated otherwise. People who already have their tickets (purchased them in advance) get in first when doors open at 7:30 pm. After the people who already have their tickets are admitted any remaining tickets will go on sale.
Please note that taking photos or any other type of recording is not allowed during performances at Boulevard Music.
