The Supper Club: Route 66 Edition
Buckle up, because this season The Supper Club is hitting the open road — and you’re invited to ride with us. From Chicago to Los Angeles, every stop along Route 66 inspires a new menu from Head Chef Dan Jones (Buns of Anarchy), paired with unforgettable live music.
Ft the incredible Elliot Porter
Inspired by songwriters including Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Neil Young, Elliot Porters songs have an earthy feel with hints of folk, country and emotive elements, bringing his influences to the fore in his own distinctive style on guitar and piano.
Elliot toured the UK in 2016 and 17, and has supported the likes of Toploader, Christina Martin, Narina Pallot, Alabama 3 and Mo Kenney. He also secured radio play from Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2 with his single 'Keep Going'.
2019 saw Elliot release his debut album 'Lanes' produced by Dave Gerard (Gerard and The Watchmen/Universal) and featuring Alex Reeves (Elbow) after a successful crowd funding campaign. The album release will be followed by a full band tour and Festival appearances across Europe and the UK in 2021 (Postponed from 2020 due to Covid-19).
During the Covid lockdown, Elliot was been busy raising money for NHS Charities together with is cover of Frank Turner's 'Be More Kind' featuring 18 artists including Jess Greenfield (Noel Gallagher), Daisy Chute (All Angels), Tom Wright (Ronan Keating/Albert Lee) and even an appearance from Frank himself!
The cover has received critical acclaim and radio play from BBC Essex, Cambridge and BBC London with Gaby Roslin.
Post Covid he goes from strength to strength with new releases
‘Normal People(2021)’ and ‘Another You(2022)’ received with great reviews and new music due in 2025 in the shape of EP ‘I Choose the Moon’ and a ‘Songs and Stories’ tour around the UK showcasing old and new material and the stories behind the songs.
