About this Event
This is a tantalising feast inspired by all the best things from the Arabian peninsula and the Middle East, curated and cooked by Mary Ho, whole foods chef and culinary presenter. Your Pan-Arabian menu for the evening:
WELCOME TIPPLE (non-alcoholic; alcoholic variant can be purchased from the bar by the good folks of Crane)
MEZZE PLATTER: Millet tabboulleh, Falafel, Hummus, Labneh in Lemony Yoghurt in bell pepper halves, Olives, Pita bread
WARM APPETIZER: Batata Harra (Skillet Potatoes with Harissa)
CHOICE OF MAIN
1. Moroccan Fish Stew
2. Roasted Berbere Cauliflower (vegan)
Both served with sides:
- Long grained spiced rice
- Fattoush salad
- Carrot & Beetroot Salad with Orange dressing
SWEET ENDING: Date and Apricots Compote, mint and cardamom tea
Tickets are $85/pax or $160/pair. Due to safe management measures, they are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
About the chef:
Mary Ho is a whole foods chef and culinary presenter. She has presented hundreds of culinary experiences on various farms and venues around the world, including Singapore, USA, Philippines and Israel. Mary is a holistic healer with a background in macrobiotic and whole foods and has been engaged by organisations to create specialised menus focused on health, wellness and healing.
