-- 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 is simply an evening to praise the Lord no matter where you are on your life's journey. But for those who are grieving or suffering, we want you to know that 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝑨𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭?
-- All proceeds will go directly to 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This organization was founded by Leonard and Amy Bailey of Stafford, VA after losing their 23 year old daughter in a tragic car accident in 2022. The mission of the foundation is to come alongside any who are grieving with a message of Hope.
𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫?
-- This concert is for YOU! Really. Everyone of us in life experiences suffering and loss. Everyone will have a friend who needs us in their time of grieving. Come to be encouraged and to be an encouragement as we praise the Lord for His faithfulness even if it's in our pain.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭?
-- This year the concert will be hosted by 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠.
𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐊𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡?
-- As a recording singer and songwriter, his music reflects all that we experience--from lament, grief, and anger, to playful & joyful celebration and worship. His music is steeped in folk, gospel, and country roots with melodies that are catchy and words that are earnest and deeply enriched with Scripture. Churches around the world use Wendell's music in their services.
