About Yin:
Yin yoga is a passive floor based and incredibly meditative yoga practice. The long holds allow for the colder tissues, including the fascia, to soften and release. By creating acupressure, the practice allows for the free flow of energy around the body. Yin helps to release blockages or stagnation within the meridian lines of the body (energy lines as used in acupuncture).
About Yoga Nidra:
A deeply relaxing guided meditation practice. You lie down for nidra and simply receive, absolutely no effort required. It translates to 'yogic sleep' and is a wonderful way to rest your body and refresh your mind.
