The 4th year of our Strongest lightweights comp!! Originally started as there just isn’t much on the calender outside of national level for lightweight strongmen and strongwomen!! And that is still the goal! Use this comp as a springboard to the national competitions, just like past champions…

Timetable.
Weigh in from 10am the day before. Other weigh in locations to be announced nearer the time.
If you miss weight you can guest lift.
Arrive at 8am. Each category will have own changing room.
Rules at 9am.
Log weights declared by 9:30am
Lift off 10am
EVENTS!!
Event 1. Log for reps.
Every rep cleaned from log pads.
60s time limit.
U80S Weight choices 72.5kg or 92.5kg
U64s Weight choices 45kg or 55kg
Any Reps at the higher weight trumps any amount of reps at the lower weight.
U80kg Athletes will be using the 13 inch strength shop logs. U64kg athletes will use the 10inch Mirafit logs.
You are to announce to head judge what weight you wish to lift 30mins before lift off at 10am or we will assume you are going for the heavier.
Event 2. Max Deadlift Sponsored by The Barbell Division. 🙌
Starting weight will be 180kgs and Increase by 20kgs per round for u80s
U64s will start at 120kgs and increase by 10kgs.
Athletes can skip lifts if they wish.
Athletes will have 60s to complete the lift.
We thank the Barbell division who will be supplying 2 top quality deadlift bars to the competition.
Suits allowed.
All straps allowed.
No sumo, or hooks.
EVENT 3.
Husafel sandbag (100kg) in to farmers walk (100kgs ph)
U64s will use a 70kg SLAB sandbag and 70kg per hand farmers.
12m each implement. Carry the sandbag 12m one way, then come back with the farmers handles.
Fastest time wins. (60s limit)
Event 4
KLC STRONGCAST
Yoke for distance.
220kg in 60s for U80KGs
140kg in 60s for u6KGs
Carry the yoke as far as possible Dropping and turning every 12 metres.
Most distance wins.
EVENT 5. Seated arm over arm.
Expect a heavy sled to be pulled across the 15m turf. Weight approximately 200kgs mens lighter for womens.
However different surfaces & sleds will mean different difficulty. So just prepare for a tough & heavy 30-60s
60s time limit.
You must start and stay seated.
Event 6.
SANDBAG HELL!
(Heavier bags stated are the mens U80kg
Lighter bag stated are the womens u64kgs)
Carry a 90KG/50KG sandbag 15metres and load over a yoke.
Run back, get a 100kg/60kg sandbag from 10m out, carry that and load it over.
Run back, carry the 110kg/70kg sandbag from 5m out and load over yoke.
With what time remains, continue to load the 110kg sandbag over the yoke for as many reps as possible. Most sandbags reps wins. 75s event.
(So if you only load the 90KG bag it’s 1 rep, if you do the 90,100, and 110 twice your score is 4 reps)
Yoke set to 46inches.

100 spectator tickets only. Your name will be checked on the list on arrival, anyone not on the list will be turned away. U16s free.
