Hosted by the Preston Meadow Lutheran Church Stephen Ministry: Caring for a family member or friend is an act of love and commitment—but it can also be overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. Caregivers often juggle multiple responsibilities and end up putting their own needs last, which can lead to chronic stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue.Kerri Newman will focus on the challenges caregivers face, including guilt, role changes, grief, and the pressure to “do it all.” Learn how to recognize signs of stress and burnout, understand the emotional impact of caregiving, ways to set healthy boundaries, and how to ask for help so you can provide for your own well-being. Caring for yourself is not selfish; it’s essential to providing ongoing care for those you love.
