About this Event

In the sun-bleached streets of Algiers, Meursault returns home from his mother’s funeral unmoved. He’s unorthodox, a man who refuses to grieve, to lie, to pretend. His docile demeanour is disrupted when he’s involved in a violent M**der, consequently calling his religious beliefs into question. His subsequent trial transcends person versus state; it becomes a struggle of man versus God.
