Cristiane Busato Smith"Writing is a form of prayer. It is an attempt to communicate with God." Isabel Allende
We are all storytellers. Telling stories makes us human. Telling stories about our spiritual journeys – our individual contact with God and the Divine within us – can be enlightening and healing.
The creative process of writing can also be a form of contemplation and give us an opportunity to deepen our connection with God and therefore foster spiritual growth. This can provide a deep sense of purpose and well-being. Moreover, when we immerse ourselves in creative autobiographical writing, we stimulate various regions of the brain associated with language processing, memory recall, and imagination.
Writing as a group and taking part in shared narratives cultivates empathy, kindness, understanding and a sense of belonging that is essential for social bonding. This program will help you write the stories you “need” to tell. Come and discover the writer within!
