📣This festival will showcase the vibrant and diverse Latino & Hispanic cultures through delicious food, lively music, and plenty of fun activities.
This year, we are planning to do a few special things as part of our “Celebrating Freedom and Honoring the Brave” theme. We are partnering with area Special Forces Group, via their Public Affairs Officer (PAO).

🎤 Fun new activities such as the Chancla Olympics and the always-popular Grito Contest. Curious about what these are? Let us explain:
🩴Chancla Olympics: A fun, competitive event where participants throw their sandals (chanclas) at a target—think of it as a boomerang with a twist! It’s a cultural thing! We were raised with when our mother’s threaten our lives with the forever fear of getting a chancla thrown at.. Um you get the gist.
🎺Grito Contest: A proud Mexican tradition celebrating Mexico’s independence from Spain. Participants will compete to see who can deliver the most powerful and spirited "Grito"—a shout that marks this festive occasion!
📣As the event continues to grow year after year, we are excited to see the ever-increasing demand for cultural celebrations in our area. This is your chance to join the community, embrace our cultural heritage, and have a blast with your family and friends.
