The Steeldrivers began as a jam session over a decade ago, and the band has become one of today’s leading Americana/bluegrass groups. Rounder Records signed The Steeldrivers and released the band’s eponymous debut in 2008, scoring the first of many Grammy nominations. In 2010, the group’s sophomore effort, “Reckless,” received two more Grammy nods. “Hammer Down” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard bluegrass charts. “The Muscle Shoals Recordings,” 2015, won a Best Bluegrass Album Grammy, as well as three IBMA nominations. Other recognition includes a cameo in the Bill Murray film “Get Low,” as well as music placement in TV and movies, most recently in “Yellowstone.” In 2020, The Steeldrivers released the chart-topping “Bad For You.”
