The word "reparations" soared in prominence immediately following the high-profile killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. But movements toward reparations have been in the works for centuries, and not only in the United States, and not just in relation to the legacy of enslavement.

Funding for House of Hope's Sunday Series comes from the Carl A. Weyerhaeuser Ministry for the House of Hope endowment fund. Learn more about the mission and ministries of The House of Hope Presbyterian Church at hohchurch.org.
