The Washtenaw Housing Alliance is excited to announce that registration is now open for The State of Homelessness & Affordable Housing! As in year's past, this event is part of a series of actions and activities happening during National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, November 17th though 23rd, 2024.
At the event we will be joined by keynote speaker Christine Haley, Chief of the Illinois Office to Prevent and End Homelessness, who will talk about her work with 16 state agencies to implement a strategic plan to prevent and end homelessness for Illinois residents. More information about the event is available on our website at whalliance.org/state-of-homelessness-event.
The event is free and open to the public. However, due to limited space registration is needed. If you can't make it to the event - no problem! The WHA is recording this year's event and will share on our website and social media once it is available.
