The Starfish and The Spider

This session will illustrate the entrepreneurial releasing pathway, and will help entrepreneurs discover how they can build flatter, more resilient, even releasing 'starfish' organisational forms in contrast to the more traditional control hierarchical 'spider' like systems.

Those who attend the session will discover what they have influence to change and others will hopefully receive confirmation of what they are already doing, with regard to developing their own entrepreneurial pathways.

Hosted by Nigel Sykes, a retired Principal Teaching Fellow and former Head of the Enterprise Teaching Group at Warwick Business School, where he taught Starting a Business courses to Undergraduates across the University of Warwick and the MBA elective, Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation.
