LITTLE CLOUD RECORDS PRESENTS
- The Spyrals new album, Retrograde, harkens back to their earliest sounds while stepping into the future. After over a decade of releasing music, Jeff Lewis finds the throughline to what makes The Spyrals. It’s loud, live and real. After self-recording multiple albums in practice studios and garages, the band entered Station House studio in Echo Park, Los Angeles in early 2024. Coming out of months of jamming, the band carved out a collection of songs. From blues vamps to spaced-out bliss, the psychedelic roots shine through on the group’s fifth LP.
Formed in San Francisco in 2009, the early formation of The Spyrals was known for their live performances. Playing around the Bay Area in the fertile SF scene, they gained notoriety with support from Aquarius Records Store in the Mission District and other SF staples. The 2012 self-titled record solidified the band’s reputation as purveyors of West Coast psych rock.
- New unreleased LP Dream Aloud from NYC space rock outfit Heaven /// Mixed by Jonathan Krienik (the Rapture, Gang Gang Dance), Mastered by Christopher Colbert (Walkmen, Pedro the Lion). Guest guitar on "Dream Aloud" by Steve Schiltz (Longwave, Wah Together). Heaven ride a massive sonic wave in delivering their dear and dreamy tracks. Matt Sumrow and Mikey Jones created Heaven in the wake of touring and recording with artists such as DEAN and BRITTA, SWERVEDRIVER, AMBULANCE LTD, CAVEMAN, the COMAS, the LEMONHEADS, and others. Now joined by bassist Sonia Manalili, after a deep collective pandemic slumber, the NYC based trio are prepping the new release and their most somnambulistic to date. Their 3rd full length Dream Aloud will be released April 4, 2025 on Little Cloud Records.
- have emerged as a sonic force in the Cascadia shoegaze scene, creating a captivating sound experience that sits at the apex of beauty and noise. The Portland Mercury calls it “noisy dream-pop and psych-tinged shoegaze,“ while The Big Takeover lauds, ”A highly-developed post-punk maelstrom.” The group crafts epic psychedelic soundscapes transporting you through fuzzed-up guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and blissed-out vocals. Their love of beautiful melodies and wistful harmonies evokes a sense of nostalgia and catharsis.
The Portland, OR quartet, made up of Ryan Carroll (vocals), Eric Block (guitars), Russ Ellis (bass), and Paul Hardie (drums), have a unique chemistry fueled by their shared love of motorcycles, guitars, and building things … like their practice space, personalized recording equipment, DIY light show, and a short run of limited-edition guitar pedals that accompanied their most recent release.
Ryan and Eric have been performing together since 2003. The duo launched Ten Million Lights in 2010 after the implosion of their band Saturna following a West Coast tour with Bob Mould. Three LPs and a slew of EPs later, Ten Million Lights are thundering along, heavier and louder than ever. Their dynamic live performances are invigorating and energetic, capturing the essence of shoegaze while pushing its boundaries. With their most recent offering, Into Nothing (LP, 2023), Ten Million Lights continue to explore music that resonates on a visceral level, offering listeners an escape into a world of sonic bliss and emotional depth.
