For 25+ years, The Springs Retreats have provided time for women to experience much needed solitude with Christ. It is a safe space for you to step away from all of your activity and concerns, in order to restore peace to your soul.
This retreat is intended for women who love and serve Jesus. This includes pastors’ wives, women’s ministry directors, Bible study teachers, and laywomen. It is not the title that matters, but that you are playing a role in God’s kingdom.
You can expect times of solitude woven together with group interactions. The entire group gathers to discuss ways to reflect on our lives and the Word, and small groups meet for meals and prayer. Worshipful chapel services with short devotional thoughts and songs of praise usher in periods of silence. The hours alone are spent however you choose to draw near to the heart of God. The grounds of the retreat center provide a beautiful backdrop for contemplation with walking trails, multiple sitting areas, and a lazy river. Resting in the Lord continues as you sleep in your private bedroom.
