About this Event
See more then a dozen tethered glowing hot air balloons along a mile stretch of runway.
Gates open at 3:00 PM Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday at 12:00 PM, The Balloons will begin inflating for the evening glow each night at 7:00 PM. Weather permitting.
Come early bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair, and spend your day enjoying our carnival midway, games, food trucks, craft vendors, helicopter rides, and daily balloon launches!
Tethered rides will begin daily as weather permits, once we begin, they will continue until the line is finished daily or weather prohibits safe operation.
- Concessions available including Island Noodles, Cotton Candy, Funnel Cake, French Fries, Cheesesteaks, DonutNV, Grumpys BBQ,Warm Ice cream treats, and MANY MORE!

General Admission parking will be at The Northern Lehigh school District 1 Bulldog Ln, Slatington, PA 18080.
FREE SHUTTLE BUS STOPS include The Northern Lehigh Middle School, Northern Lehigh High School, And The Slatington Elementary School.
Residential on street parking will also be available.
Our FREE SHUTTLE BUSSES run daily Friday-Sunday during all festival hours!!
PER LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON RT 873, OR AT THE AIRPORT, ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.

We are very excited to announce that The Spooktacular Balloon Festival is back in the Lehigh Valley for 2021. This will be our 2nd year of the festival. The festival will be held on Friday, October 22, Saturday, October 23, and Sunday, October 24.

This unique and exciting experience cannot be found anywhere else in the Valley. The Spooktacular Balloon Festival is the largest fall laser light hot air balloon festival in the Northeast and offers beautiful views of the amazing rolling hills and Valleys of the Delaware River.

We suggest purchasing your tickets in advance online + eventbrites convenience fee, However tickets can be purchased CASH at the gate on the day of your visit. Carnival ride wristbands, tickets, games, and tether rides in the balloons available at an additional cost.
Tethered balloon rides offered, weather permitting, for $20.00 per person. Take a short up and down in a hot air balloon. Appropriate for all ages.

VIP Parking available at the airport $30.00 Per vehicle
VIP TICKETS $150.00 Per guest includes up private restroom,private seated viewing area including close access to all balloons, dinner, and1 tethered hot air balloon ride per guest.
A DJ will be providing themed music all weekend long!
