About this Event

Anticipate an afternoon of pure musical enchantment with the orchestra, our soloist Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman, and the sparkling brilliance of the programmed compositions. Our soloist will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #2 in c minor, Op. 18. Other works in the program include Hymn for Everyone by Jessie Montgomery, Capriccio espagnol, Op. 34 by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque (Light and Gold).
