The Wright State University Alumni Association invites all alumni, guests, friends, and retirees to participate on the annual Spirits and Spells Bus Tour! This is a highly anticipated and requested event so we do expect it to sell out—so buy your tickets early! This Saturday-Sunday trip gives alumni and friends the opportunity to tour and taste some of the finest distilleries and wineries Kentucky has to offer, and get a paranormal tour of the Waverly Hills Sanatorium.
The itinerary for the 2024 Spirits and Spells Bus Tour are:
-Pensive Distilling (Lunch and Tasting)
-Neeley Family Distillery (Tasting and Tour)
-Waverly Hills Sanatorium (Paranormal Tour)
-Old 502 Winery (Tasting)
Hotel
Attendees will stay at the Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown. The hotel is situated walking distance to Fourth Street Live, Louisville's entertainment district with dozens of restaurants, bars and entertainment.
The All-Inclusive Rate Includes:
-One night stay at the Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown
-Round trip transportation from Dayton to all distilleries, wineries, sanatorium, and hotel via Croswell Motor Coach
-Snacks on the motor coach
-Admission to tours and tastings
-Lunch (Choices are in registration form)
-Breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning
-All tips for tour guides, bus driver, and tour/tasting staff
Cost:
Single Occupancy Room: $345.00
Double Occupancy Room: $275.00
Triple Occupancy Room: $255.00*
Quad Occupancy Room: $245.00*
*There are a maximum of two beds in each hotel room, so triple and quads will have to share a queen bed.
Registration for the Spirits and Spells Bus Tour is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be open through July 28th, based on hotel availability or once the trip has reached maximum capacity.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be granted to requests made to the Office of Alumni Relations prior to July 15th.
**Must be 21 or older in order to participate in this tour.
