Please note this is a standing show. When The Specials fractured and split in 1981, they left behind a musical legacy which has arguably remained unrivalled. The band pioneered a multicultural, anti-racist ethos and created a unique image and sound which combined punk, ska and reggae music with an acerbic lyrical commentary on the state of Thatcher's Britain in the late 70s and early 80s.
With the sad loss of Terry Hall at way too young an age, the band are no longer active but The Specials Ltd faithfully recreate their passion and energy, bringing back memories to those who were there first time around and showing younger fans what they missed.
The Specials Ltd are a 9-piece band full of passion, energy and excitement. Their set includes such hits as Gangsters, Too Much Too Young, Ghost Town, Stereotype and Rat Race, as well as fan favourite album tracks such as Hey Little Rich Girl, Do The Dog, Man at C&A and Vote For Me.
Since they formed in 2018, they have performed countless shows at some of the United Kingdom's most prestigious venues. These include multiple sell out shows at London's 229 and 100 Club, where they performed the band's first album in full as well as a second set of album tracks and single releases. They have also headlined a number of festivals including The Isle of Wight Scooter Rally.
