The Spazju Kreattiv Art Collection – An Open Research Project continues its archival journey, dedicated to preserving the legacy of the organisation and showcasing significant artworks donated to Spazju Kreattiv over the past 25 years. This year’s exhibition features a diverse and thought-provoking selection of exhibits from previous programmes, utilising various media to highlight the evolution of the Maltese artistic scene.These creations not only push artistic boundaries but also offer socio-political commentary, capturing raw emotions and documenting the complexities of contemporary life and artistic creation. As a testament to the power of artistic expression, the project provides a glimpse into the rich tapestry of ideas, emotions, and perspectives of past collaborators. Moreover, it aims to raise awareness about Spazju Kreattiv’s research methodologies and its ongoing efforts to preserve its history and evolving role within the local and international creative sectors.
