The Source Code: Amplifying Human Creativity in the Age of AI
The machine can generate. Only you can discern.
Generative AI can produce endless content, but it cannot replicate the source of true creative authority—insight, intuition, and embodied wisdom.
This one-day workshop is a deep dive into your own creative process. Machines can generate at extraordinary scale — but they do not initiate, they do not wonder, and they have no stake in what they make. Human creativity emerges from somewhere machines cannot reach: a body, a history, an inner life that runs deeper than thought. Understanding how you create is not a soft skill. In the age of AI, it is essential.
On Wednesday 1st July, I am running an intimate, 8-seat pilot workshop at the University of Glasgow to stress-test this framework.
- Standard Course Value: £380 per person.
- Pilot Access Seat: £35. This hands-on workshop is a live pilot of the full framework (valued at £380). Tickets are heavily subsidised for this session to secure a committed cohort of 8 participants.
- The Future Pipeline: This pilot stands alone: a serious inquiry into what it means to create as a human being. It serves as the prerequisite for a separate future course called Friction Lab (which will cover the creative use of AI tools).
The Workshop Goal: Map Your Creative Architecture
This day is designed to help you identify, map, and strengthen your uniquely human creative capacities. You will move from reacting to digital noise to gaining the structural clarity needed to keep your creative voice sovereign.
Core Pedagogy: Creativity is a Discipline, Not a Mystery
- The Operating System: Creativity is a fundamental human system, not a rare gift.
- The Muscle: Like any high-performance system, your creative process strengthens with conscious use and atrophies with neglect.
- The Rhythm: Ideas follow a recognisable architecture as they move from the "void" into form.
- The Embodied Framework: We map the five Koshas (the layers of the human system as a lived experience) against the seven stages of the creative process to bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern technology.
Who Is This For?
Anyone whose value lies in their ability to solve problems—whether you are designing a building, a curriculum, a business strategy, or a creative project.
- The Adaptable Professional: Anyone whose role is being reshaped who wants the self-awareness to stay ahead of the curve.
- The Intentional Creator: For those who rely on original thinking and want to maintain their creative authority in an automated world.
- The Human Lead: Leaders and educators tasked with navigating human-AI collaboration without losing the soul or ethics of their projects.
- The Strategic Thinker: Managers, marketers, and innovators who need a repeatable internal system to find true breakthroughs.
The Primary Takeaway: Your Personal Creative Blueprint
You will not leave with an AI toolset. Instead, you will leave with a personalised, diagnostic map of your own creative process, allowing you to:
- Locate Internal Blockages: Identify exactly where your creative process stalls and which specific layer (body, mind, or energy) needs intervention.
- Maintain Intellectual Sovereignty: Understand your own framework deeply enough to use digital tools for production without outsourcing your judgment and discernment.
- Sustain Quality Systematically: Build a repeatable internal system for high-level output that resists burnout and creative drift.
In a world saturated with generated output, where does your creativity run deeper than anything a machine can touch?
Master the process. Reclaim the source.
