No other band has shaped music history as innovatively over the decades as Pink Floyd. As early as 1967, they developed the first quadraphonic sound system, even before stereo devices were mass-produced. Their visually immersive concerts echoed Wagner’s concept of a “total work of art”, experimenting with distortion effects and real-world soundscapes to create a unique and groundbreaking experience.
