Led Zeppelin - 70’ernes ikoniske rockband.

Led Zeppelin - the iconic rock band of the 70s. 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of what is probably their biggest and most famous classic: Stairway to Heaven. Led Zeppelin took the world by storm, from the very beginning in 1968 creating a completely new style and direction within rock music. A best-selling and groundbreaking band that, until they were disbanded in 1980 acted as a soundtrack for an entire generation.

A selection of their immortal songs are now being reinterpreted by this band of creative and adventurous musicians from the higher echelons of Danish and European jazz: Claus Waidtløw - saxophone, Thor Madsen - guitar, Jesper bodilsen - bass, Karsten Bagge - dr.

With this project the latter wanted to rediscover his own musical roots, and while now mainly moving within the different genres of jazz, why not try to give a modern and unexpected take on the music, which turns it in a completely new, instrumental jazz direction?

So come down to the “Drop Inn”, and prepare for an experience that will likely render surprise as well as recognition.
The sound and arrangements are different; but The Song Remains.
