*Civil Liberties. Learning to Defend Ourselves through the experiences of the Coalition for Civil Freedoms. Speaker: Leena Al-Arian, Coalition for Civil Freedoms.
*Black Liberationa and Marxism. Black liberation and the early communist movement: The revolutionary legacy of Fredrick Douglass and Karl Marx. Speaker: August H. Nimtz is professor of political science and African American and African studies and Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Minnesota. He is the author of Marx and Engels: Their Contribution to the Democratic Breakthrough
*Syria. The Overthrow of Assad, the fight for a new Syria, and the future Arab Spring. Speaker: Ramah Kudaimi is a Syrian-American activist in DC and former member of the National Committee of the War Resisters League.
*World capitalist crisis. The World’s Imperialist states are Planning War and Further Devastation of Working Class Lives. Where is our power? What must our strategy be? Speaker: Blanca Misse is a professor, union leader, Revolutionary Socialist and member of workers’ voice
*Marxist Economics. The economic logic behind the global capitalist crisis and the corresponding destruction of the postwar world capitalist order. Speaker: Renowned Marxist Economist Michael Roberts. (Remotely)
*For a World without Borders. Defeating Washington’s threat of mass deportation is only the beginning of our tasks. Speakers/Panelists are still in formation.
