More detail on the talented brass trio we have coming to perform in Shabbington in November.Solis Trio is an all-female brass ensemble that formed at Wells Cathedral School in 2018. Eliza, Meggie, and Hannah are working on new commissions to bring a wider recognition of the ensemble. They won the Musicians Company Brass Ensemble Prize at the Royal Academy of Music in July 2021 and became young artists to the scheme performing frequently, such as at the Buxton Music Festival, as part of the Ferrandou music scheme, in the Petworth Music Festival, and in the Dinard Opening festival. They are also committed to learning and participation, working in the Merton dementia hub, and providing masterclasses for John Lyon School, and Wells Cathedral School.
