The Social Table is a table we book, and you come and play!Come alone or with someone, but be prepared to mix it up with some friendly folk who are looking for company too!
This event is all about facilitating connections and creating an environment of fun and friendship. We know it can be hard to find friends who love board games, good coffee or even a cold beer when you have moved to a new city, and maybe don't speak the local language (yet) and we want to help.
Board games are a great way to spend an hour or 5, to have easy-going conversation and to combat loneliness and boredom.
So if you want to meet some lovely people, make friends and play some games, come and join the social table!

7th November:
This Social Table will be a little different. Same concept as our normal Social Table but we have a very special guest at coming - Magnus Karlsson.
You may not know his name, but I am sure you may know his game Zoomies. We playetetsed this game last year and proudly added it to our shelves.
Well he has been busy and now has 4 games and he wants to come play them with us.
What are his games? Keep reading to find out!

Zoomies
Score big by matching domino-style dog tiles and claiming different scoring options
In Zoomies, you're a dog walker helping your pups at the park make friends, collect bones, become the leader of the pack, and get the zoomies.
Each turn, place a domino-style tile in the playing area, then place a scoring token on it.
Each of the four scoring tokens can be played two ways, so you have to choose what's best and what to give up. Tokens give you points based on adjacent dogs, bone icons, and more.
Play your dogs right, and you can add points to a previous token while digging up a whole new way to score. You might have to boost an opponent's score, but maybe they'll wag a few points your way as well. At the end of the game, score each token to see who's top dog.

The Plank
Roll your dice and sharpen your swords to become the last pirate on the plank.
Part of the pirate crew has decided to mutiny. You find yourself forced out on the plank, but there is one last hope. The last one left on the plank will be spared and allowed back on the ship!
The plank is a push your luck dice game where you try to move as little as possible each turn. But as you get closer to the edge of the plank, you need to adjust your rolls to roll lower and lower. You can collect coins to gain extra rolls or ignore dice, or collect swords to push the other pirates closer to the edge.

Where is that?: Europe & Where is that?: South America
Test your geographical knowledge and try to place each location.
How much do you know about geography? In this fun and challenging game, your knowledge will be tested in two different modes:
CARTOGRAPHER’S CORNER
In Cartographer’s Corner, you will put your geographical knowledge to the test by building a map in front of you round after round.
CONTINENTAL SHAKE UP
In Continental Shake Up, the group of players build a map in the center of the table as they play. But watch out! Only those cards that are correctly placed will remain on the table. Additionally, the riskiest placements are the ones that will give you the most points.
