Welcome to The Social SHIFT where women meet, connect, and build real friendships. Because life isn't meant to be lived alone... and let's be honest, making new friends as an adult? Not easy. We are changing that!
The Social SHIFT Presents: Crafty Connections! Picture this: pottery painting, snacks, laughter, and conversations that go deeper than small talk. Join us for a fun-filled evening of getting away from the kids and laundry.
Come solo (most women do!) or bring a friend! Either way, you won't leave alone!
This in-person event will take place at Color Me Mine (Plano), where you can unleash your creativity while enjoying some drinks and making new friends. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for everyone.

✅ What You'll Bring/Do:
- BYOB (Alcohol is allowed!)
- When you arrive on 8/30, you'll pick your pottery piece (most range from $15-$40)
- After you know what you're painting, you'll venmo/zelle or give cash to Brittany (because the pottery has to be on one tab)

Hi, I’m Brittany — the woman behind The Social Shift. I’m almost 40, single, no kids, an entrepreneur, and a little obsessed with anything crafty or charcuterie-y. I started The Social Shift because I know how hard it can feel to make friends as an adult. I wanted a space where women could show up as they are, have real conversations, and leave feeling seen and connected.
So, if you’ve ever thought, “Where are my people?” ... this is for you. We’re not about cliques or awkward small talk. We’re about laughing, creating, and finding your crew.

Info: The event starts at 5 but if you want to come early to scope out the perfect piece of pottery, you can sneak in about 4:45!! :) The Private Room won't open until 5 PM but the pottery pieces are all at the front!

Info: We'll be eating the whole time LOL! But, the first part of the night will be for meeting and mingling too! I have some fun stuff planned to break the ice and lighten the mood while we get ready to pick colors and paint!

Info: This is a private event so we'll be in the private room. Most people come solo. This is your time to get to know new friends! Although the event "ends" at 7 PM, Color Me Mine doesn't close until 9 so we can keep painting in the main room if wanted/needed! It's going to be a great night
