For 25 years this roots and blues outfit has performed at venues and blues festivals in both Europe and the UK, including sharing the bill with BookerT and the MG's, Nina Simone, Peter Green, Taj Mahal at the UK's legendary Bishopstock blues festival.
After the release of their debut CD El Cobra, the BBC invited the trio to record a session for the Paul Jones blues show on BBC radio 2. Also Blueprint magazine included a track for their BEST OF BRITISH BLUES compilation CD.
To date, Smokestack have recorded 3 more albums also recording sessions for film and television including film documentary ""Through The Eyes Of The World"" (the Muhammed Ali story.)
