Blue Light Sessions presents The Slow Sippers and Olson Lloyd.The Slow Sippers:
The Slow Sippers are a Vancouver based, 6 piece groove machine with a retro-soul rock n' roll vibe.
Their repertoire is drawn from soul musicians of the past and present who inspire them. They add their own flair and flavour to these covers; whether it be a dash of funk, blues or rock n' roll.
What sets The Slow Sippers apart from 'Top 40' bands is that the songs they choose to cover are 'deep cuts'. These songs haven't been overplayed on the radio and they have never been anthems for the masses; yet they are soulful, well curated pieces with an energy that gets a crowd bobbing its head and moving.
The Slow Sippers are looking to gain momentum in 2025. They are keen to play more stages and build on their following.
Olson Lloyd:
North Vancouver artist Olson Lloyd blends folk, pop, and country with influences like Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Zac Brown . His soulful voice and acoustic guitar evoke the warmth of a campfire jam and the energy of a kitchen party. Driven by storytelling, his songs explore love, life’s adventures, and everyday moments. His new EP drops this fall—stream his music everywhere.
