In this timely training, Dr. Ryan Wetzler will share what he has learned over his 20+ years of experience evaluating and treating sleep difficulties. He will start with an overview of the role sleep plays in promoting optimal health. This will be followed by a review of common sleep disorders, treatment considerations, and where to go if you need further help. The bulk of our time will be spent systematically discussing the bodily systems involved in the regulation of sleep. Participants will complete assessment tools prior to participation to assist them in recognizing their particular vulnerabilities to sleep disturbance and what they can do to manage these factors. In short, Dr. Wetzler will share all that sleep science has to say about how to optimize sleep and how to apply these strategies to get the best sleep possible.
