The SKIDS are coming ! For the first time ever, iconic Scottish Punks, The SKIDS are coming to Hong Kong on the Australasian leg of a Greatest Hits Tour to celebrate their 45th Anniversary.
Formed in 1977 in their hometown of Dunfermline, The SKIDS weren’t your archetypal 1-2-3-4 punk band, they were different. And their songs resonate as much, if not more, today. With a catalogue to die for, original frontman (TV presenter and filmmaker) Richard Jobson’s ability to connect with his audience remains a constant, while his voice remains strong and passionate.
The SKIDS were at the heart of the punk scene in Scotland and took their music to London where they were signed by Virgin records. They made 4 albums and had numerous hit singles including Into the Valley, The Saints are Coming, Masquerade and Working for the Yankee Dollar.
The SKIDS are still a mighty live force. Join them and celebrate the SKIDS legacy as they fire up a set full of crowd-pleasing anthems.
