About this Event

Join our Women+ in Green NorCal Committee for a workshop aboutThe Six Classes Approach for Healthier Buildings, People & Environment.

Developed by Arlene Blum and the Green Science Policy Institute, this framework helps designers, architects, and purchasers move beyond addressing harmful chemicals one by one. Instead, the Six Classes approach identifies families of the most concerning chemicals, empowering the building industry to make informed choices, avoid regrettable substitutions, and create healthier environments for people and ecosystems alike.
