On Thursday, February 6th at 7:00pm, Belfast’s Underground Lounge welcomes The Sirens to the stage. The music begins at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30pm) at 17 Court Street, under the Basil Burwell Community Theatre.
The Sirens are Cara Rose Lauzon and Trisha Mason. Boldly badass and unapologetically themselves, The Sirens’ music reflects their fearlessness. With a blend of originals and covers, their performances are a representation of their love of music and the craft of words. Their lively upbeat performance, full of pathos and ethos is a fun hang, yet full of meaning. Breath in, breath out and take in, as with fiddle, voice and rhythm this dynamic duo bares their souls. You can hear samples of their work at

Trisha Mason is a songwriter and recording artist based in Rockland. Her love for music was cultivated from a young age, she started writing songs at 14 and the road has been paved with lyrics ever since. Trisha Mason has independently produced two full length albums. “Worse or Better” 2012 and “RedSky” 2016. Recently, Trisha released “Red Door Traveler” 2024 a tribute to a song writing challenge.
Cara Rose Lauzon is a violinist and fiddler from Rockland who is well-known for her gorgeous sound and passionate solos. She is a self-described vibrant, creative, and joyful character, adept at making lemonade out of lemons. Her holistic approach to music reflects a life of travel and curiosity, learning from cultures all over the world, about their music and life. Currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Cara learned to read music before she learned to read English, starting at 4 years old. She delights in the folk music and dance of communities around the globe.
The Underground Lounge is Belfast’s volunteer-led DIY music series which brings people together through the long Maine off-season. Admission is $10 -$20 (cash only) at the door. All of the proceeds, after rent and expenses, go to the performers.
