It's been 8 years since the very first 90's Show, and we were jam-packed in The Stage on Herr, and it's still the hottest show of the summer. This time, we are taking the very best from Freaknik's tradition, with the hottest music, love for the culture, fashion, and gathering of togetherness in creativity and Black Joy!!!!
The Singer's Lounge is a space for local soul singers and performers, occurring most 3rd Sundays of the month. Our venue is where singers can perform with a live band and house background singers. The brainchild of Airis Smallwood, this event was created to provide an avenue, that has been lacking locally, for soul singers to be able to perform. Under the musical direction of Brian McGrady.
We are operating under PA and the CDC's COVID-19 guidelines. Masks are optional, but recommended. Ticketholders of the The Singer's Lounge are fully and personally responsible for their own safety and actions, recognizing that despite the implementation of The Singer's Lounge health and safety protocols, they may still be at risk of contracting COVID-19. By purchasing a ticket, ticketholders release and waive The Singer's Lounge from any and all liabilities as it relates to COVID-19.
