Come to the Melton Mowbray Market Place and enjoy the sounds of choirs, singers, a samba band, and many more musical delights, on the 9th of March 2025.The Sheriff’s Shindig is being brought to Melton Mowbray by The High Sheriff of Leicestershire, John Chatfeild-Roberts. The High Sheriff strongly believes in the positive power of art and music in the community, and has worked with musicians and charities to create this event, bringing two days of joyful musical performances to the town, for the pleasure of everyone.
The Sheriff’s Shindig is followed the next day by The Melton Proms in St. Mary’s Church, on March 10th, with hundreds of local school children performing with a classical orchestra.
