The Shazzams are an American/French band based in Paris, and play ‘garage-rock-psych-punk-pop’ music that blends together their Franco-Anglo-American influences. They have concocted a style of music that summons garage-rock, pop-punk, and psych that exhibits the influences of The Violent Femmes,The Kinks, Nick Cave, The Gun club, Talking Heads, Tom Waits, and Howling Wolf, to name of few. Led by native New Yorker Justin Houser, The Shazzams released their debut album 'Fighting Trousers' 2 years ago, and are putting the finishing touches on their forthcoming album entitled 'Another World'. And of course, The Shazzams have been performing non-stop their kinetic, high energy shows throughout France, Germany, the UK, and Belgium for the past few years on any given day.
