Join us for a night to remember as we celebrate the 75th anniversaries of the Shasta Symphony Orchestra and Shasta College with an extraordinary joint event!
This unforgettable evening will feature a stunning program, including Sibelius’s Finlandia, Mozart’s oboe concerto in C major (with soloist Cat Huss), and Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen featuring violinist Gracie Benham. The program will also include selections from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, the West Coast premiere of Julian Dürr’s Piano Concerto No. 1: Aeternal performed by the composer himself, and Márquez’s lively Danzón No. 2. Under the direction of Dr. Jeff Specht, the concert will celebrate the rich history of the Shasta Symphony while showcasing the incredible talents of the Emerging Artist Solo Competition winners.
