Rat Tamango are an Adelaide three piece who play a unique brand of blues rock, fusing elements of garage, psych and funk. Spending almost a decade gigging around Adelaide and interstate, Rat Tamango have built up their reputation as a committed and talented high energy troupe and who love nothing more than smashing riffs, tins and high-quality bakery feeds. They released their debut album ‘As I Live and Breathe’ in March 2022 off the back of their self titled & Jelly Tube EP’s.
Over the past few years, Rat Tamango have supported the likes of Something for Kate, Jebediah, Nick Oliveri (ex Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss), The SuperJesus and had the opportunity to jam on stage with Jeff Martin from legendary band, The Tea Party.
They have also featured on lineups of festivals such as Beer & BBQ, New Shoots (KI), Our Place, Spaces Jams, Pirate Life’s 8th Birthday and more.
