About this Event
Join University of Nottingham Neuroscience students for this interactive science workshop where children will explore how their senses work. Through hands-on activities including mystery touch boxes, optical illusions, scent jars, and animal sound games, children will discover how their skin, eyes, nose and ears send messages to the brain. Using a take-home brain map, they will learn which parts of the brain help us feel, see, smell and hear.
There are three sessions on Tuesday 17 Feburary at Keyworth Library: 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
This event is suitable for families with children aged 7+. When booking your tickets, please include all adults and children attending.
About FOSAC

Each year FOSAC invites the people of Nottinghamshire to explore, experiment and examine; to be curious, to ask questions, and to seek answers about the world around us, and this year is no different! We have lots of free events, including drop-in and ticketed sessions, happening across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Find out more via our website.
