In this one-hour walk we will look at cacti and other succulents which live in desert conditions where rainfall is rare. How do plants survive in such hostile conditions? And does New Zealand have its own deserts and specialised plants that live here?Meet at the Treehouse veranda at 1.30pm and finish at the duck pond.
