Open air theatre on the lawn in front of Cawdor Castle is back for 2024. The first event will be a brand new show: The Secret Diary of Henry VIII! The Three Inch Fools present an essential guide on how to keep your head in the Tudor Court. Unexpectedly thrust into the limelight, young Henry navigates the ups and downs of courtly life, and all whilst fighting the French (again) and re-writing religion. The Fools hit the road with this brand new comedy - a mad-capped take on Britain’s most epic monarch, and those infamous wives.
Gates open at 6pm to allow plenty of time to find a seat, grab a cocktail and perhaps take a stroll through the Flower Garden before the performance begins. Highland Boundary will be joining us for this event only, bringing themed cocktails and mocktails using their highland botanical liqueurs.
Bring your own chairs, beanbags or blankets to sit on. Picnics welcome, but no dogs or umbrellas please.
