The First Ukrainian Theatre in Calgary is thrilled to invite you to its premiere – a therapeutic physical theatre performance titled The Seagull Inside You, inspired by Richard Bach's Jonathan Livingston Seagull. This production marks a significant milestone for our theatre, as it brings together a talented ensemble of Ukrainian actors who have found refuge in Canada, yet continue to share their art and culture with the world.
Our performance is a deep, emotional journey that transcends language. Through the universal language of movement and emotions, Artis’s actors will tell the compelling story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, a bird who dares to be different and embarks on a quest for self-discovery, harmony, and love. The narrative is both inspiring and reflective, allowing each audience member to find a piece of their own story within it.
