AUDITIONS MARCH 5TH AT 7PM AND MARCH 8TH AT 1PM.THE SEAFARER is a chilling play about the sea, Ireland, and the power of myth. It’s Christmas Eve, and Sharky has returned to Dublin to look after his irascible, aging brother who’s recently gone blind. Old drinking buddies Ivan and Nicky are holed up at the house too, hoping to play some cards. But with the arrival of a stranger from the distant past, the stakes are raised ever higher. Sharky may be playing for his very soul.

Roles:
James "Sharky" Harkin- Erstwhile world worn fisherman and recovering alcoholic van driver/chauffeur. Strong. Self loathing yet tough.
Richard Harkin- Sharky's older brother. Scruffy, likes a drink or four and is capable of switching from the happy go lucky figure to desperation. He has recently gone completely blind.
Ivan - Old friend of the Harkin brothers. Adores drinking, especially with Richard. He has been taking care of Richard in Sharky's absence. Kind, but a lost soul.
Nicky - Richard's friend and rival of Sharky. Life of the party demeanor. Tends to test the waters a bit too much with his rivals.
Mr Lockhart - A stranger. Mysterious. Is confident and poised in a room full of old friends. We should feel like he is a wealthy businessman with some deep secrets.
