The Scribes Boombox is a project born of multi-award winning act The Scribes. Consisting of lyricist/producer Ill Literate and beatbox maestros Milky & Minamus, the group’s unique talents have combined to make a trademark sound unlike any other, featuring a seamless blend of live instrumentation and sampling set against a block rocking backdrop of booming beatboxing.
Having shared the stage with legends like GZA, MF DOOM, The Pharcyde, Pharoahe Monch, the group’s roots are firmly planted in golden age hip hop sound.
