Edvard Munch (born December 12, 1863, Löten, Norway—died January 23, 1944, Ekely, near Oslo) was a Norwegian painter and printmaker whose intensely evocative treatment of psychological themes built upon some of the main tenets of late 19th-century symbolism and greatly influenced German Expressionism in the early 20th century.
In this wonderful acrylic painting workshop you will be guided to create a likeness of one of these fabulous painting by master artist Edvard Munch.
The painting is seen as a seminal work. Created on a single day in 1932, it is one of a sequence of works showing the artist's then love, his muse and mistress Marie-Thérèse Walter and is widely regarded as amongst his greatest achievements of the interwar period!
Our essential like the Masters 'Artreach Art Night' painting workshops are an excellent way to practice drawing + painting + spend a fun, creative evening.
You will learn and practice composition + colour combinations + sketching in + painting + historical context avec Master artist Pablo Picasso as we study one of his beautiful paintings.
*** This artwork will have a particularly accessible process to follow so excellent for absolute beginners + improvers and those that would like to have a go!
All Materials and equipment is included (you will be painting on an A3 canvas!

FAQs Is there a minimum age requirements to enter the event? We use age as a guide and recommend this workshop for children age 16+, although an adult could potentially do this workshop alongside a younger person.
