About this Event
Led by a University Professor of Psychology, this workshop is part active discussion, part lecture, and will dive into the science of Consciousness, discussing the most recent theories on its origins, its purpose, and how it (we) interface with material reality.
Given many people have studied this phenomenon over aeons, we will discuss multiple lenses on the idea of Consciousness spanning from psychology, biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and philosophy.
We will work actively in integrating these ideas with lecture, discussion, and active Q&As as we explore this infinitely wide topic. Looking at both ancient and modern science, we dissect how interactions in the brain and body give rise to our subjective experience and the various contents that occupy our minds every day.
