About this Event
This whimsical holiday train will leave r.k. Miles Depot Station on December 14 and 15, 2024, taking its riders on a one-hour enchanting journey through the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. Passengers will be entertained with holiday melodies and a guest appearance by Mr. and Mrs. Claus! Get those cameras ready!
Boarding begins at 10:20 a.m. and the Train leaves at 10:30 a.m. SHARP. All trains must depart on time as required by the rail road company scheduling. Please arrive early and be ready to start boarding at 10:20 a.m.

Are there any refunds or exchanges if I cannot attend?
There are no refunds or exchanges. We recommend that you verify your dates with family and friends before purchasing your tickets. Tickets are only valid for the event date and time for which they were issued.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
This event is rain or shine! We do everything in our power to remain open for all event dates. The Santa Express does not close for winter weather and does not give refunds or exchanges to those who are unable to attend their scheduled ride due to weather conditions.
Do I need to purchase for a child under the age of 2?
No, you do not need to purchase a ticket for a child under the age of 2. They will only be allowed to sit on your lap.
What time should I arrive?
Plan to get to r.k. Miles Depot station 1 hour before boarding to allow for parking (free) and secure your tickets. There will be attendants to help you find parking and walk to the train. You will board the train 10 minutes before your scheduled time. There is no indoor waiting room at this station, so we encourage you to dress warmly.
Are bathrooms available?
There will be portable toilets. There are no bathrooms on the train, so please use the portable toilets before boarding.
How should we dress?
Check the weather forecast, but Vermont winters call for you to dress warmly and wear boots. The trains are heated, so we suggest you dress in layers.
Is this event wheel chair and stroller accessible?
We are sorry, but the cars are not ADA accessible, there is no wheelchair lift and strollers cannot be accommodated. Please email at [email protected] for more information to see if we can accommodate you. Service dogs are always welcomed, but personal pets are not allowed.
